       There are more than 30 species and sub-species of fish living in the various water bodies inside the malvan marine sanctuary. Some of the main business varieties of the fish residing in the sanctuary are the Labeo Rohita, Labeo Dero (Gid), Labeo Calbasu, Tor putitora (Mahasir) & Mystus Seenghala (Singhada). Many tourists love Scuba Diving in this region due to rich flora & fauna species!

How to reach: The nearest airport to Malvan Marine Sanctuary, Maharashtra is at Goa, about 145-km away. The nearest railway station to Malvan is at Kudal, about 28 km. From Mumbai, it took 530 km up to 11 hrs of driving by car or by private buses.
