Devbagh Beach is a tiny fishing village that sits on a lean strip of land with the Karli River backwaters on one side and the Arabian Sea on the other. Devbagh Beach is close to Tarkarli Beach and ends at Devbagh Sangam. It is easily approached via the Malvan-Tarkarli road. Devbagh beach is less crowded during the high tourist season and attracts tourists looking for peace and relaxation. Sunset is the peak time to watch this natural expression. Combines secretly with sea waters from behind Devbagh’s famous meeting also known as a local word “Mobar Point”.
A convergence of the Karli River running into the Arabian Sea. This point marks the southernmost peak of the malvan taluka. A fascinating geographical location, it is far more charming to see it atop the bridge built to cross over the river into Vengurla.
For the adventurous, Devbagh provides a host of exciting water sports, parasailing, snorkeling, speed boat cruises, banana boat rides, water scooter, and Kayaking. Very skilled instructors, adhering to stringent safety norms supervise these adrenaline-pumping activities.
The boundary of the Resort are clusters of mangrove, with their ‘breathing roots’ projecting out. This is also an admirable spot for bird watching. One can also often hear and spot a pack of jackals crawling and hunting crabs on the beach at night.
