ALIBAUG

The best time to visit in Alibaug to enjoy the beaches for tourists is from November to July. Between August to October, you can explore the region on the rainy days, which exposes the lush green beauty of Alibaug. The boat service between Mumbai to Alibaug is not functional during the rainy season.

Alibaug is a seaside town and a municipal council in Raigad District of Maharashtra, India. It is the base of the Raigad district and is south of the city of Mumbai. Alibaug is part of the Mumbai Metropolitan Region and is situated at a distance of about 96km from Mumbai and 143km from Pune.

It is a popular weekend getaway from Mumbai because of its proximity. I think it’s worth a visit, especially for people wanting to get some break away from the hustle and the bustle of the city. If you’d like to experience some water adventure, Alibaug is the closest location in Mumbai for beaches.

Once you reach the coast, you will see the historic Colaba Fort. There is no doubt that the beauty of the coconut trees that accompany the tall cypress trees on the shore will captivate your mind while observing the entire fort. Private and government bungalows on the beach make the beach more open. In addition, school water ice cream bhelpuri patties, etc. on the shore. Food vendors are there to satisfy hunger. Experience the roaring sound of the sea waves here.

As the sun begins to set, take a look at the horizon and see the rainbow glistening on the color of the sky. In such a dim light, the sky-scraping terror of the fort in front of you will have to go down in history. You will not be able to resist the temptation to accompany the fishermen who have gone home singing in their merriment, regardless of their wet clothes, carrying nets on their backs, rushing through the sand.
